Walking in the Rain

It's good to feel the rain, whether it be falling above your head (on the roof, that is) or on your head. I have always enjoyed rainy days since it always meant staying indoors, sipping something hot and hibernating under the sheets. Rainy days, though do not encourage me from doing the things that you do on a sunny day - Playing under the rain is in my opinion, an experience that grown-ups and children alike should enjoy. Like most simple, everyday joys, walking in the rain do have some therapeutic effects (hmm, lately medyo lahat ng mga bagay therapeutic sakin. quarter-life anti-crisis, i think). Everything is put into a clearer perspective with the rain falling on your head, parang ang simple lang lahat. The world skips a beat on a rainy day, nature's way of reminding all creatures under the sun (and rain) to take a back seat and relax and enjoy the day. Rainy days have a way of re-assuring us that yes, the sun will come out tomorrow, and yes everything will be fresh and lovely and cheerful again.

Flowers are more colorful during rainy days.

i agree but i think they are most colorful AFTER a shower. :)
Anyhow, flowers are always beautiful. :)

i love the rain. and i've noticed that people who love the rain are the people i love to hang out with. they're the same people who get awed by rainbows and full moons, starry nights and sunsets. we're special that way.
