A Fairy Tale

Once upon a time... as fairy tales often start, before there were Red Roses as we know them, there was a princess who always gets what she wants. She was pretty, she was sexy and as princess often come, she was spoiled (someone asked me why she was able to get everything she wants, so I included a brief description of her).

As the princess came of age, suitors from all over the land came to court her. Gifts came in all shapes and sizes. Men of prominence all wanted her hand in marriage, spoiled bitch that she was.

Alas, the princess would have none of the riches that was being presented to her feet day after day. She wanted just one thing, a Red Rose, a thing that does not exist during that time. Men searched high and low for the a single Red Rose, but they could find none, as roses only come in pink and white then.

Suitors pleaded with her and offered her wealth and power and pleasures only king and princes are entitled to, but to no avail...she wanted her Red Rose and that is what she expects to get.
Time passed until one day, there came not one but a whole bouquet of Red Roses on the Royal Chamber. There was a buzz among the land as everyone is wondering who the prince or king or duke or baron who was lucky enough to provide the rare item that the Princess wanted.

Sadly no one would know who sent the Red Roses save for the Royal Gardener. As he lay dying in his rose garden, the last drops of his blood soaking the once white and pink roses, he took once last glance at the tower where the princess was waiting. As he breathed his last, he surveyed his now crimson-colored rose garden and smiled...

Comments:
this story seems strangely familiar...

ey, link kita sa blog ko :D

i thought the story would end like this:

because of frustration (not having someone to give her a red rose), the princess took a dagger, plunged it to herself, then died. her blood, however, flowed through the pink and white rose garden and colored it red... and that's the untold legend of the red rose.

hahaha... parang koko krunch ang story!!!

I hate the princess. Bitch.
